What would I do without you, my bloggy friends? For the last couple of years my school has taken a turn for the negative (testing, pressure of outside consultant visits and requirements, etc). The morale has declined it got to me. But last summer blogging opened up a world of teachers who want what I want-- to enjoy their jobs. We're all under more pressure than a few years ago and have more to do than we have time for. But your comments and posts have helped me return to the teacher I used to be. I can't thank you enough. It amazes me and makes me feel so special that people care enough and are interested enough to read my blog. But the comments especially are so encouraging and motivating. Because of this I'd like to give the Favorite Follower Award to a blogger friend I can always count on for encouragement and great ideas!
This is a very heartfelt shout out to Barbara at Grade ONEderful. She has taken the time to comment on my blog frequently since I got it started and it means so much.
Thanks to all of you for being part of, and including me, in this wonderful bloggy world. (I'm afraid this seems very sappy, but I mean it so sincerely.)
P.S. I know it kind of... well maybe I shouldn't ask... but I really want to... hopefully you'll understand. Our 100th day of school is next Friday, Feb. 3rd and it would really be fabulous to reach 100 followers by the 100th day of school. So, if you're reading.... maybe... you'll follow this tiny little blog and make someone very happy. Plus I promise a 100 follower giveaway. Thanks!

Chrissy, I'm super touched by what you said. It's not sappy at all. I know what you mean about the blogging world and how supportive it is. I cherish your comments too and love how you also check in on my running blog :)
ReplyDeleteAnd oh my goodness, you ARE close to 100! It's so exciting. It's like a magic number or something. I'm off to bed now but I will happily blog about your site tomorrow to hopefully help a little bit with the followers. And don't be shy about asking. Everyone knows what it's like -- tee hee. Take care.
