A Sunshine Award!

I can't believe it... the Sunshine Award! I am just thrilled!
Thank you so much to Beth Ann at
Taming My Flock of Firsties for this award. You can head on over to her blog and check out the great things she has going on.

The Sunshine Award rules are
1. Thank the person who gave this award and write a post about it.
2. Answer the following questions below.
3. And pass the award to 10~12 fabulous bloggers, link their blogs and let them know you awarded them.

* Favorite Color? Red, most of the time.
* Favorite Animal? Definitely cats. My husband and I have 2- brother and sister. I can't imagine not having a cat around.
* Favorite Number? Maybe 2. It occured to me that it's a very comfortable number and no one gets left out of 2.
* Favorite Drink? Oh, I'm bad... Dr. Pepper. I've cut back but I just love it.
* Facebook or Twitter? Facebook. My friend posts adorable pics of her kids- that's what got me started.
* Your Passion? My family. They are everything. Although, teaching ranks up there awfully high and blogging is taking up a lot of my time too- happily, of course.
* Giving or Getting Presents? Giving for sure. I love the smiles and letting people know I appreciate them. Honestly though, it's fun to get presents too.
* Favorite day? Saturday. Knowing I can sleep in helps me get through some of the other days.
* Favorite flowers? Alstromeria.

Here are the 12 blogs I have chosen:

Teaching First

Chalk Talk

First Grade- California Style

Flying Into First Grade

Oceans of First Grade Fun

Thoughts By Jen
- a super technology blog and her website provides fabulous online project opportunities as well.

Thanks again, Beth Ann. And thanks to all who have motivated me to keep teaching fun.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, all!
